Map of the Route of The Rots

Dear Readers,

Finally, after a very long time indeed, I have made the move to publish the map that the honorable Dr. Lyras has made on our travel towards our goal, The Rots. Hereby the map:

It might be that one cannot see that well, I do suggest that either the screen of the computer is made more flat or, if that is not possible, just lower yourself a bit!

We have named hereby:

1) the River that we crosses first the Blackadderstream

2) The first mountain Mount Masia

3) The plateau that connects Mount Masia with Leidseberg The Cornelus Plateau

4) The mountain upon which The Rots is located The Leidseberg.

I do hope that all of you are now well informent. Furthermore, I would like to tell you all that a new exploration is already in the planning but not yet ready for departure.

Second exploration of the Rots

Dear Readers,

I have come finally to tell you about my newest discoveries, which contains the exploration of the Rots itself. I am delighted to tell you that the second time whe climbed the massive mountain, whe did reach our goal! This time however, my dear companion Anna Stanley couldn't join me on my trip because of personal preferences, that however made little change because the most honorable Dr. George Lyras was willing to join me. So that the second exploration would be one to be rememberd, for it was scientifically correct and whe would thus be able to take samples and create a correct and accurate map of the mountain. Because Dr. Lyras is a geologist and thus good in interpreting the stonequality and the form of the mountain, whe were able to create a map of the stones of which Mountain Masia, Leidseberg, Cornelius Plateau and the Rots were made. We have also named the places and rivers that whe crossed after persons or places that deserved it to be called after that. In any way, this time we had a good working compass, a Geologist, lots of will to reach our goal, long trousers and thick socks! There we went!

We started form Home at 0937 hours and whe reached the front mountain at 1015, after that we were climbing the mountain for 3 hours. About 3/4 of the road, my knees were exhausted and thus were sending signals to the brain that they couldn't do it anymore. The brain decided different however, because Dr. Lyras continued at full speed ( as he had started the mountain walk fast, he continued this fast pace) so I couldn't affort it to stop every 10 minutes or so. Later it came out that also Dr. Lyras had been exhausted at that moment, but we were walking only because we could see the Rots closer than ever.

Also, as soon as we reached Cornelus Plateau, we found out that the first exploration of a second mountain had been nothing more than the top of Mt. Masia and the reaching of the not no flat Cornelus Plateau. After the Cornelus Plateau there was still a lot of way to go.

Soon, after half an hour, we reached a small rock formation and we climbed it. The view from there was terrific!

After one had seen that view, our pace went up and in 15 minutes we had already reached the Rots, which was of impressive size I must say! I was as happy as an explorer can be when one has reaches one's goal!

After an rather dangerous travel around the Rots, yes I couldn't leave that undiscovered!, we considered that it was about time to go back to the inhabited world way below us. Because soon tme would have left its traces!

After our rather exhausting way back, in which we thought we would never reach it, we did. We were almost to tired to walk, but allas there was no other option. The way back was, still on the mountain, full of stones and I fell more than once almost.

However, in my view it is not needed to fill you in with more details then neccercly, and thus I will leave out the fact of how many stones I counted. But I will tell you however that we discovered a new kind of fungie that grows on bare rocks, because it is orange of colour whe have called it after the Queen of the Netherlands, Beatrix.

Also have we found during our path a river, or more a stream which we have called: Blackadder Stream, after the most famous butler know in England ( during Prince George of Wales).

Continuing the story

As I was not able to finishe the telling of my new discoveries and I had to stop at that sudden moment, I shall post the rest in a new post...as you now read.
I was feeling good when I was climbing up and with the hope that springs till eternity in humans, ofcourse only when good care is taken to the fountain out of which is springs, grew stronger as the higher my companion and I went the better the view became and the closer whe came to our goal. However, the human body can only stand activities such as climbing for a rediculously short period, so afther 2 hours of climbing upwards, my companion and I had to enjoy the view and leave the Rots unexplored...or at least till I would return for further exploration... Whe turned round an round, taking all details in our minds as pictures and when my companion sheltered below a tree to cool down I saw, to my greatest fear, a homo neandertalis waving from the depth at us. And as fear only grows under sertain surcomstance and with food the knowledge of the subject of fear...mine grew. As I am rediculously afraid of a species that are called dogs by the locals, and better known as domesticated wolves. I knew from earlier exploration done by my clever and cunningly brained fellow explorers that in the valley from where the Neanderthal man waived at us, a shepperd lived with his frightening wolves. Thus I was very sure that this was the rather bad temperd shepperd and as I was afraid of the wolves I ran down to my companion, who did not share my fear for she had not got the knowledge to feed it. I however had only one will, to go down as soon as possible for I was afraid of the fact that the wolves might be sent up to hunt us. Whe went down as soon as our already painfull feet let us, and as the view grew smaller and smaller the hope that had driven us up the mountain failed more and more so did our speed and our mood. By the time that whe were almost again in hostile territory, that whe now considerd rather safe compaired the the fearing fear of being hunted by mad wolves, our mood had sunk as deep as it could get. My feet were sore and I couldn't set a step anymore, but however the choice of stopping was not available. Whe had to continue walking till our home was reached. Before whe exited the mountain whe found the whole and rather undamaged shell of a dwarf turtle. That had made our first discovery worth an article for a dwarf turtle hadn't been discoverd yet. Whe walked and walked through hostile territory whilst the mega orsi ran and ran next to us upon the Road, and our feet became more and more sore....but yet, whe managed and whe came home with the new discoveries that whe had encounterd upon the Mountain, and with the idea of planning a new exploration in the next two weeks...as soon as all the blisters would have been gone!

The Exploration of the surroundings of the Rots

As said already in the post before this one, the Rots was my new goal of exploration. I already knew that its location whas north-east to North-EastEast. As I haven't got a proper compass I have to use an old one which has air bubbles but nontheless it did serve it purpose as good as it good, for I found the Rots at the place that it was supposted to be, North-East! To reach the startpoint of expedition Rots whe, that is Stanley and I, had to pass through hostile territory. The hostile territory whas habited by the very territorial Homo Quasi Sapiens and mostly Neanderthal, which is thus a scary bussiness to pass them. After a rather long journey through Neanderthal territory whe had reached the end of the living territory and the mountains laid open in frond of us. Whe were amazed by the amound of trees that grew on them for the mountain that whe had explored before contained no trees at all. Whe still pasted through a small Neanderthal Settleling which contained a high amount of domesticated wolves, for which I am rather scared.
Once whe set foot on the mountain whe felt that whe would reach the top of the first mountain for sure, but whe weren't very sure about the fact that whe would reach the real goal. For an hour whe walked upon the rather bushy wastelands higher and higher, harldy allowing ourselfs to rest for whe were filled with hope and will of reaching higher grounds. Our first break went accompaniend with a view through the binocluars in hope to find our Home, which whe didn't find. After our break whe were filled with new power and hope, for before whe were sure that whe would have to return soon. Whe walked higher and higher, being more filled with scratches than before. It felt healthy, walking up a mountain, being one with the body and setting one step after another with only one goal: reaching the top of the first mountain. Sweat rolled from my face and I was very happy with the fact that I had worn a airy t-shirt so that the sweat served it purpose: to cool down the body.

A new exploration about to begin!

As I am know for my exploring behaviour I cannot see my life without exploring the unknow. Because I have been prohibited by unbelievable amounts of homework I have seen myself unable to plan any new explorations. However, a week ago I have climbed The Stairs and I have been able to have a broad view of the surroundings of our Home. With my binocluars I have seen fasinating things, such as a vast population of a different Mega Orsi, and mostly the undiscoverd Rock, which I shall explore more thouroughy this weekend.
Hereby I ask anyone who is interested in joining me in the noble goal to be ready at 8 o'clock on Sunday Morning, the date to be the 6 th of October in the year 2007. Be sure to have binoclars, good shoes and lots of good ideas about exploring!

My discovery of the Mega Orsi

My first ever expedition led to the dangerous Kipos, an large impenetrable jungle full of dangerous not yet listed animals. There is an inmense river crossing the Kipos and it leads to an enormous lake. I have named the river the River Thames because of its close resemblance. The lake is called the Thames lake for it is filled with the water of the River Thames. In the middle, and towards the more penetrable parts of the Kipos Jungle, there is an misterious building with many windows. I expect it to be an tomb of the old kings and queens. I haven't entered the building because of lack of exuipment.
Towards the end of the jungle, it was fairly easy to penetrade it now, there was an connection towards and old system of transportation which resembles the road. It leads towards the unknown building. Upon the structure that I have now identified as Road there were several Mega Orsi, Mega ors in singular. That is where I have made my discovery of modern times. Together with my always loyal companion Dr. Stanley I made the attemped to draw the Mega Ors and investigate its unknow habits. Those I shall summ up for you:
1) The Mega Ors is to be recocnised by its shiny appeance that can be in numerous colours. It also has 4 round legs that are made out of a unknow substance. The local people say that it is called Roebber. It also has red lights in its behind, that will turn on when the Mega Ors is running or braking. It is also fairly normal to see the local people through the glass substance that is the barrier of this stomach.
2) The Mega Orsi awake with either the touch of the hand, to which it shall make and loud alarming sound, or to the bliep of an unknow piece of technology. When they sleep they are not dangerous
3) They run around freely and they eat plenty of Homo Quasi Sapiens.
4) There are to subspecies. The dominated version runs around on Roads and has 4 legs that are not so powerfull. There belly's are pretty low to the ground. Whilsth the wild ones have only 2 legs that are not round but rather like elephant feet. The wild Mega Orsi move themselfs with a jumping motion which the dominated version cannot do. They all eat the same: Homo ( Quasi) Sapiens ( Sapiens)
5) When they run they digest there prey when they are running or walking and the particles they do not need they get rid of in the form of gasses that smell horrible.
6) The way of reproducing in unknow to the modern world.
